MG Midget 1964 Old English White

This car comes with the original Registration Book, Original Service Book and Drivers Handbook

Description / History

This car has been my personal joy since August 2000. New MOT, Tax Disc. Wax oiled. Oil pressure 50-60. Work carried out in 2001 includes the body re-spray in 2 pac Old English white, full new interior trim, carpets and seat covers from MG Owners.

Work carried out in the past two years;

New timing Chain, Water Pump, rear brake cylinders, rear brake shoes, front brake pads, front and rear wheel barings

Front suspension restoration with new kingpins, rubbers and seals

Twin Carburettors restoration with new spindles and butterfly discs

Front Dash restoration with all dials fitted with new rubber seals and cleaned. Front dash re-sprayed with wrinkle paint from MG Owners

£1000's of pounds spent on trim, nuts n bolts, bits and pieces here and there. I have all the recites, to many to list.

This car drives well and gets me to Cornwall and back for an annual camping trip without ever having any problems.

Bad points. There is a small mark on the drivers seat. a few small stone chips if you examine very closely. Bonnet has been rust proofed at the front and had some filler in the past. Front and rear drivers wheel arch small repair. Rear bumper pebbled on drivers side. See pictures, click on and download for full size pictures.
